Convict Edward White [indicated on page 4, Figure xx ], Age: 28; Tried: Kilkenny; When: Lent 1800; Term: 7 years

The total convict count on the manifest is 178, consisting of 150 males and 28 females. One male convict Pat[rick] White is struck out with the words “died on board in the harbour” (Figure…)

Comparing the sequenc eof convict names on teh manifext at embarkation on 29 Nov 1801 in Ireland with teh names on teh indent at arrival in Sydney on 6 Jul 1802 shows them to be the same (see Figures ….for page 1 of both documents).

This idctae sthat the indent completed in Sydny was just an a direct copy of teh origianl manifest document and not an actual recording of teh various convict names as they disembarked, which would have been random giving rise to a diffeerent sequence of names on the indent.
