The following original documents include:
1 - pastoralist Thomas Peel’s original letter of 1 April 1835 to WA Governor James Stirling requesting assistance to control the natives in his district (Figure 1 is page 1; Figure 2 is page 2&3). The transcripts of these pages have been supplied by the WAS State Archives (Figures 1A&B and Figures 2A,B&C respectively). This letter refers to an enclosed statement from two Natives (see next).
2 - statement from the two Natives Ninda and Dolliong (Figure 3 page1 and Figure 4 pages 2&3) and their respective transcripts from the WA State Archives.
